Philip has many years of web design experience. He started web designing back in the mid 1990's. He taught himself web development using the LAMP stack during the Christmas Holidays in 2008. He ran his own Linux server in his SOHO office hosting his own web site as well as his sister's site Become The Boss.
Philip first got interested in web design during the mid 1990's when he got introduced to Compuserve online forums. He became a member and joined Ziff Davis Publishing's ZDU and took a number of courses including Web site design coding with HTML version 2. From back then, Philip realized the potential of the web when he learned that web sites could be designed to be 100% accessible to the blind. It didn't take him long to figure out that sites designed to be accessible to the blind would be a lot easier to make an e-commerce platform.
Philip designed his sites to be at least 50% accessible to the blind. When smart phones came out, it didn't take Philip long to figure out how to make his sites 100% accessible to mobile phones. When most other designers and developers were creating multiple versions of their site ‐ site for mobile phones, site for the blind plus the regular site for everyone else, Philip was creating one site for all three groups of users.
Other services Philip offers includes video editing and converting old computers to Linux to extend the useful life of the machines. Philip is a self taught audio/video editor. Samples of his earlier work can be found on YouTube.
